Volunteering as a Group or Business
Adopting a Route
Adopting a route to deliver to is an easy way for businesses and organizations to become involved in our local community! Your business or organization can commit to delivering meals once per week or twice per month and may choose a consistent day of the week for volunteering. Meals are delivered in the morning hours, weekdays only. If you are interested in adopting a route, please contact our Volunteer and Client Services Coordinator at 864-225-6800 or email@example.com.
Preparing and Packaging Meals
It takes a great number of people to prepare our meals each day and get them out the door of our center to our recipients. Helping Meals on Wheels – Anderson prepare and package meals is a great team building activity for businesses and organizations! We can arrange for your business or organization to volunteer as a group on the meal line one time only or we can arrange once per week or twice per month volunteer opportunities. The meal line starts promptly at 8:30 am and is finished up between 9:30-10:00 am, weekdays only. If you are interested in joining our meal line and packers, please contact our Volunteer and Client Services Coordinator at 864-225-6800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

If your business or organization is unable to donate time to adopt a route or volunteer during working hours, we have other ways that you can be involved in enhancing and carrying out our mission of delivering meals to the disabled and elderly homebound residents of Anderson County.
